We are also able to offer different levels of service for dealing with a probate as follows:

• Advice Only.  General telephone advice covering all aspects of probate.

£125 + VAT 

• Obtaining Grant of Probate.  No inheritance account.  All steps up to and including obtaining Grant of Probate where the Inheritance Tax account is not completed.

£350 + VAT plus Court Fee

3.      Obtaining Grant of Probate where an  Inheritance Tax Account must be submitted.  Ascertaining assets to include in form IHT200, preparing Oath and obtaining Grant of Probate.

£750 + VAT plus Court Fee plus tax payment

4.      Full Probate Service.  Obtaining detail of estate, completing forms IHT205/200 and Oath and obtaining Grant of Probate – thereafter calling in estate in accordance with Will if deceased.

£1,500 + VAT plus Court Fee

5.      If no Will – Intestacy.  PROBATE LINE can advise on what to do where there’s no Will.  Who is entitled to estate and who can apply for Grant of Administration, which will be needed in any estate in excess of £5,000.

• Advice on intestacy rules, who can obtain Grant of Administration and who is entitled to estate.  Telephone advice only.

• Advice and assistance – obtaining Grant of Administration – completing IHT Forms and Oath and obtaining Grant of Administration where no IHT payable.

£350 + VAT 

• Advice and assistance – obtaining Grant of Administration, completion of IHT forms and preparation of Oath where IHT is payable, preparation of IHT account and obtaining Grant of Administration.

£750 + VAT 

6.      Full Administration Service.  Obtaining detail of estate, completing IHT 205/200 and Oath and obtaining Grant of Administration

• thereafter calling in estate and distributing in accordance with Insolvency Rules

£1,500 + VAT plus Court Fee currently
